I'm so happy you found us! I'm Dolly,
co-founder of Iris Fields Events.
I'm a mother of 3, a devoted partner and have a deep love of family. You will frequently find me smiling and laughing because, well, life is too short not to!
Since I can remember I have been obsessed with details. As a child I would set our family table for our large family dinners and special events hours before anyone was scheduled to arrive. I would arrange and rearrange place settings and add special touches to each one that was specific to the person I knew would be sitting there. In my adulthood this love for details, especially the small ones, has led me to successfully design, host and manage many wonderful events including weddings, showers, silent auctions, banquets and holiday décor for restaurants. These special occasions have also allowed me to help partner with local charities to give back to our community.
In my free time you will find me elbow deep in my other two passions – baking and cooking. Both are expressions of love to those I share them with and allow me to be creative. We have hearts for service here at Iris Fields and we can’t wait to chat with you and hear all about your thoughts for your next great adventure!
Lastly, why the name Iris Fields Events? My mother’s name was Iris, and she was the ultimate caregiver, not only of people but of their hearts as well. What a beautiful world we would live in if we had fields of Irises.
What are Micro-Events?
A Micro-Event is similar to a traditional event but smaller in size and number of attendees. The premise of a micro event is to have fewer attendees so the opportunity to make meaningful connections is greater.
Micro-Events make it possible for every attendee to participate and encourage people to interact with one another. There are usually more hands-on activities, so everyone gets an opportunity to be involved. They also provide more flexibility and are budget friendly. If there is a change in plans, it's much easier to repivot the event on a smaller scale than a larger one.
What is Event Styling?
We know from experience that styling is the most impactful part of any event, however, this is where most people struggle. There are many pieces to the "styling" puzzle which require extreme coordination to bring the desired vision to life.
Styling focuses on how a venue looks aesthetically. We take your personal style and tell your story by visually designing a space that reflects your personal brand. We do this by providing visual cohesion for a more meaningful impact which allows your guests to have an immersive, unique, and personalized experience.
Well hello there! My name is Nikki,
co-founder of Iris Fields Events.
We all dream of attending the perfect event, but I also dream of planning them. When I was a little girl, I threw my fair share of tea parties and as a teenager I enjoyed surprising my friends with parties to celebrate their birthdays. I learned at an early age that I felt true happiness and joy when I was doing things for other people.
As an adult, my most recent experiences have been curating unique, and fun events for company parties, hosting private 30–40 person dinner celebrations with stunning tablescapes, and designing spectacular events in multi-million-dollar homes throughout Denver, Boulder, and the Summit County. We look forward to decorating your dream event.
As you continue to look through our website, my hope is that you will see that the foundation of our business is based on giving back, and nothing would make us happier than to make a donation in your name, to one of the non-profits that we support.
When I’m not designing an event, you’ll find me either hiking throughout beautiful Colorado or painting. I first picked up a paint brush during COVID because I desperately needed a hobby, but I had no idea that painting would become a serious passion of mine. I'm excited to put my creativity to work for you on your special day. Click on the "Contact" tab and let's plan something spectacular!
